Is it super obvious what album I listened to as I wrote this post?
This Ariana Grande tee is one of my latest H&M finds- I saw it and immediately knew it was meant for me. Her thank u, next album is full of bops, and “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” is definitely up there for me!
I’m a huge fan of black and pastel pink (it gives me Barbie vibes) so I knew I should pair it with my lace-up black skirt- possibly the only other item in my wardrobe that can rival this shirt’s sassiness. And what would a sassy #OOTD be without some hoops and a half-up, half-down pony? Incomplete. That’s what.
I’ve been applying to internships for summer 2019 and it is such a process! It’s going to be so rewarding once I get accepted to one that’s a good fit for me, but right now I just feel like I’m jumping through so many hoops and not seeing any results. I know my hard work will pay off in the long run, though!
In other news, I’m so thankful that the worst of winter is behind us! Being able to consistently break out my cutest skirts brightens my day. I’m a huge fan of leopard print, as you may already know, so when I found this one at Uptown Cheapskate I knew I had to have it.
Yesterday was literally such a good day! My mom came into town to watch my concert band concert and we were able to spend the afternoon together beforehand. I don’t get to go home much in the spring so I am so thankful when my parents take time out of their day to come to me.
I knew we would be doing some clothes shopping so I wanted to wear something that would be easy to get on and off as we went to different stores. The weather also got up to 50 degrees for the first time in a few days, so I wanted to give my legs a breather and not confine them to jeans for a day. This shirt is kinda short so I wasn’t sure how well it would stay tucked in my skirt, but it did really well and I ended up loving how this look turned out!
Today I’m heavily feeling my braids, as you can see. I thought they really pulled this outfit together (I usually wear my hair down.) I love the gold accents from my earrings and my belt and that the whole outfit is so delightfully neutral while also sporting an extremely bold print. (I also was told that I gave off Jenny from the Block vibes, which inspired the title.)
